Was having a good outing where we were traveling for the day and our tour guide gave us Mama's Sack Lunches to go! It came with a soft chocolate chip cookie, a wonderfully crafted sandwich, lays original, A ripe red delicious apple, and a Hershey's chocolate kiss. The bags have an uplifting note stamped on the front. I saw online that they have breakfast meals and that they do burgers on Thursdays and Fridays. I'm going to have to try dining in some time!
You're missing this treasure if you haven't been here. Food was excellent. Fruit was fresh. Strawberry shortcake was moist and very tasty!! Christian music playing. Very friendly staff. A great change to see people smiling at work. I'll be back and tell everyone to eat here!!!
Food was delicious 😋 KLove playing in the background, service was very welcoming and kind. 😇 We skipped out on the hotel breakfast to hit up this local gem. Next time we are in Montgomery we will definitely be back! Thank you!

My cutie little hubby and I enjoyed it! ❤️ "Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people." - You feel their slogan as soon as you walk in the door because you are welcomed with a smile, greeting, and warm atmosphere. 🍽️ Cute little place in the heart of Montgomery - within walking distance of beautiful Troy University. Once you walk in you see seating area to your right with lots of options to sit - booths and tables. To the left is the gift shop and where you can order food. Gift shop includes trinkets, books, clothing, jewelry, etc. CLEAN - the workers were seen sanitizing in between customers. 🥪 Food was AMAZING! I got the Club sandwich with banana pudding (best I have ever eaten) and pasta salad - awesome and refreshing! Generous portions and fair pricing. Each meal comes with Mama's signature Hershey kiss. I really liked that they wrapped the package with a sticker that said "Thank you for supporting my small business." I thought that was a sweet touch. Stopped by roadtripping. Absolutely adorable gift shop inside, wide variety menu, and staff is above and beyond. We were thoroughly impressed by all the staff members friendly service. Food was great. We got sandwiches with fries and fruit, sourdough grilled cheese. 10/10 best sandwich we had in a long time and the fries were amazing!
Places like Mama’s Sack Lunches is what gives us hope in humanity, and why we need to support local business regardless what the economy or social politic environment is. The food is downright home cooking and the portion is what you would get from your grandmama regardless how old you are. The people are so friendly and make you feel like you are eating at your grandmama’s table It’s a shame that download Montgomery is going at the wrong direction but let’s make sure Mama’s Lunches will thrive for as long as they can!
I ordered the Mama's Club on dark Rye, and the sandwich was amazing. Just a simple, amazing sandwich. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the establishment has a very laid back atmosphere.
This was my first time eating at Mama's after hearing my whole office rave about it. I got the Thursday/Friday burger and fry deal and it was so good! The inside is much bigger than I thought it would be, with a large dining area for you to sit and enjoy your meal. They also have a little shop by the door with faith based products ranging from jewelry, home decor and keychains. I also spotted 2 books by one of my favorite authors out in the wild for the first time which was fun! Will definitely be back since it's just a walk away from work!
Such a cutie place when you go inside. Breakfast was amazing and very reasonably priced. I will for sure go back to try out the rest of the menu!
Amazing service. Felt welcomed as soon as you come in the door. There are quite a few made to order options and sides, and each one of them were delicious. Definitely worth trying!
